However if you do register with MarathiMitra.com then you get an option to see the Marathi script.
Q: Why the Pronunciation Key used is different than other English Dictionaries?
A: Although, most of the English dictionaries use pronunciation keys that are similar, they are still not the same. Each have their own variations. Some of the Marathi pronunciations are very different than English hence need it's own pronunciation key.
Q: Why the Pronunciation Key used is not similar to any other Marathi Writing software?
A: Most of the commercial or non-commercial Marathi writing software (keyboard mapping or transliterian) is designed to help write Marathi using English. We continually try to improve the learning experience of Marathimitra, so help us by sending your suggestions.
