Why Learn Marathi?

It's been couple years since we published list of reasons that we think people learn Marathi for. We also requested our visitors to share their own reasons for learning Marahti. Here are some of the most popular reasons that we have received so far.

I am learning Marathi because:

  1. My spouse is Marathi.
  2. I am in love with a Marathi girl
  3. I am in love with a Marathi boy
  4. I am a non-Indian visiting Maharashtra.
  5. We are adopting a kid from Maharashtra.
  6. I am doing social work in a remote area within Maharashtra.
